The DWHL currently uses several arenas for our team. Also, we have some practice arenas. We'll add arena details as they come up...

Pierrefonds Sportplexe

The Sportplexe 4 Glaces in Pierrefonds is our "usual" arena. The address is:

Directions

From Hwy 40 or Hwy 20, take exit "St. Jean" and head north. Turn left (west) onto Boulevard Pierrefonds. The Sportplexe is 0.7 km further, on the left.

Westwood

The Westwood arena in Dorval can be found at:

Directions

From the North: from Hwy 13 South, take exit 3O toward Autoroute 520 West. About when you reach the airport, get off the highway and keep right to get onto Avenue Cardinal. About 1.5km later, shortly after the golf course, turn right on Pine Beach. Within a minute, turn right on Torrence, and immediately left on Thorncrest, and you're there.

From the South: get yourself to Hwy 20 West, and take exit 53 for des Sources. As soon as you're over the tracks, squiggle right to come back toward the tracks. At the T, turn left onto Cardinal. In about 1.5km, turn left onto Pine Beach. Within a minute, turn right on Torrence, and immediately left on Thorncrest, and you're there.

From the West (1): Hwy 40 east, des Sources south nearly to the end, then right to get to Donegani/Cardinal, and left at the T for Cardinal. In about 1.5km, turn left onto Pine Beach. Within a minute, turn right on Torrence, and immediately left on Thorncrest, and you're there.

From the West (2): If you're closer to Hwy 20 east, then off at des Sources (exit 53). You'll have to get onto Des Sources, go over the tracks, then immediately squiggle right to come back towards the tracks. At the T, turn left onto Cardinal. In about 1.5km, turn left onto Pine Beach. Within a minute, turn right on Torrence, and immediately left on Thorncrest, and you're there.

Dollard Civic Centre

The Dollard Civic Centre can be found at:

Directions

From the North (e.g. Laval): From 13 south take exit for 40 west, but stay on the service road. Almost immediately after Sources, turn right onto Bancroft, which becomes Lake. Turn left onto de Salaberry, and you're there.

From the East (e.g. downtown): 40 west, take Sources exit but stay on the 40 service road until after Sources. Turn right onto Bancroft, which becomes Lake. Turn left onto de Salaberry, and you're there.

From the North-West (e.g. Kirkland): East on Brunswick, left at Lake, left onto de Salaberry; you're there.

From the South-West (e.g. Pointe Claire): 40 east, exit Sources north, after two blocks left on de Salaberry. The Civic Centre is on your right after the Marché de l'Ouest.

LaSalle Rec Centre

The arena at Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent in LaSalle can be found at:

Directions

From the North: Take autoroute 13 south to 20 east, then exit 63 onto 138 west (towards Pont Honoré-Mercier), then see below.

From the West: Take autoroute 20 east, then exit 63 onto 138 west (towards Pont Honoré-Mercier), then see below.

From the East: Take autoroute 20 west, then exit 63 onto 138 west (towards Pont Honoré-Mercier), then see below.

Rest of: from the North, West, and East: From the 138 west, shortly after you cross over the canal, take exit 2 toward Lasalle and left onto Rue Clément. Five blocks later, right onto Rue Comte and then the first left onto Jean-Milot. At the end of the street, slight left onto Boul. Newman and immediate sharp right onto 90e Ave. Turn left onto Rue Boivin, and at the end of the street, left onto 75e Ave. The Centre Sportif will be on your right.

From the South Shore: You could take the 10 and 15 into town, then west on 20, exit 63 onto 138 west, then see above, or instead take 30 east, 730 north, 132 west, and 138 east over the Pont Mercier, then exit 1 for Rue Airlie and down Airlie to the end. Turn left onto 75e Ave, and the Centre Sportif will be on your right.

Lower Canada College

The arena at Lower Canada College can be found at:

Directions

From the North: make your way to Hwy 15 south, and take exit 64 (Sherbrooke); turn right (west) onto Sherbrooke. After 9 blocks turn right onto Avenue Royal. In about two blocks you'll see the college on your left, but the arena will be on your right.

From the South-West: From Hwy 20, take exit 64, and get onto St-Jacques going east. Turn left onto Cavendish to cross the railroad tracks, and shortly thereafter, turn right onto Sherbrooke. In about 8 blocks, turn left onto Avenue Royal. In about two blocks you'll see the college on your left, but the arena will be on your right.

From the South Shore: Make your way to the 15 north, and take exit 64 (Sherbrooke); turn left (west) onto Sherbrooke. After 9 blocks turn right onto Avenue Royal. In about two blocks you'll see the college on your left, but the arena will be on your right.

Pointe Claire (Bob Birnie)

The Pointe Claire arena can be found at:

Directions

From the North: Google Maps recommends taking the 13 south all the way to the end, and taking exit 1 onto 20 west. Then follow the next paragraph:

From Highway 20: Take exit 50N for St-Jean north; after you cross the tracks and go up the hill, turn right on Douglas-Shand (just after City Hall). Go to the end, then turn right on Maywood, and right again to get into the arena parking lot.

From Highway 40: Take exit 52 for St-Jean south; in about 10 blocks, turn left on Douglas-Shand (just after John Rennie High School). Go to the end, then turn right on Maywood, and right again to get into the arena parking lot.

There are lots of shortcuts if you're local; I'll let you navigate yourselves in that case!

CEGEP St-Laurent

The arena of CEGEP St-Laurent can be found at:

Directions

From points west, take Hwy 40 eastbound, then exit 68 (Stinson, Rockland, L'Acadie), and continue on Côte de Liesse for a short while until you can turn around under the elevated highway, at Stinson. Come back the way you came, again on Côte de Liesse, continuing past the exit where you got off, then turn right on Avenue Sainte-Croix. The CEGEP will be on your right shortly after you cross the train tracks.

From points east, take Hwy 40 westbound, then exit 70 (15N, Laval, Rockland), and following signs, merge onto Côte de Liesse. In just under 2km, turn right on Avenue Sainte-Croix. The CEGEP will be on your right shortly after you cross the train tracks.

Martin-Lapointe (Lachine)

The Martin-Lapointe arena can be found at:

Directions

From points north and west, get to Hwy 13 southbound, and take the exit to Hwy 20 east. From there take exit 62 toward Avenue Saint-Pierre/Avenue Dollard and continue along Boulevard Montréal-Toronto. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Jacques to go under the overpass, then immediately left onto Rue Richmond and slight right onto Avenue Gowans, which ends at Rue des Érables; turn right. A few blocks later, turn left onto Avenue du Moulin to get to the arena parking lot, which will be on the right.

From points south and east, get to Hwy 20 westbound, and take exit 63 for QC-138 O. keep right, following signs for Saint-Pierre/Avenue Dollard/1re Avenue, and merge onto Rue Richmond. Make a slight right into Avenue Gowans, which ends at Rue des Érables; turn right. A few blocks later, turn left onto Avenue du Moulin to get to the arena parking lot, which will be on the right.

Evolution Ice

Our sometime practice arena Evolution Ice can be found at:

Directions

If you're coming from the West Island west of des Sources, head east on Hwy 40, and switch to the service road at Sources (exit 55).

If you're coming from downtown, Laval, or the South shore, head west on Hwy 40, then turn around at Sources (exit 55) and head east on the Hwy 40 service road.

Shortly after Sources, pull into the parking lot of the Trevi Piscine and Meubles Ottimo stores on your right. The rink is located about 50m down the parking lot on the left side.

Excellent Ice Kirkland

Our sometime practice arena Excellent Ice Kirkland can be found at:

Directions

If you're coming from the north-east, head west on Hwy 40, take the St-Jean exit and head south, turn right on Hymus, then right on Aesop, left to stay on Aesop, left on Edmond, and you're there.

If you're coming from the north-west, head east on Hwy 40, get onto the Service Road at St-Charles, and turn right on Edmond.

From the south, you'll prefer Hwy 20. From either direction, take the St-Charles exit and head north. Turn right on Chemin Ste-Marie (just before Hwy 40), and right onto Edmond.
